Surprise Baby Shower

30 Weeks!! Am I carrying high and it's a girl or am I carrying low and it's a boy? Will the baby have blonde hair? Red hair? My chin? Leif's eyes? Amazing to think in 10 weeks we'll know and I'm very excited to meet this little one. I would definitely say the belly seems to be growing weekly now and baby's movements are getting stronger. This past week we have a wonderful lady in town named Susan who offered to teach Lamaze classes. We had our first class and it's comforting to know I'll have a few tricks to help through the labor process. Also this past week I received the results of the glucose screening for gestational diabetes. My result indicated I needed to go in for further testing- so I'm headed in Monday for a 3 hour test. Whatever the final results, I'm thankful for these screenings to help make sure the baby is healthy and well as momma!

SURPRISE!!

Sara is a gracious host and with Louella's amazing planning- I was surprised! April 17th the ladies at school surprised me with a baby shower. I was a bit overwhelmed with all the attention but felt extremely loved and appreciated all the wonderful gifts. Pictured below is a hand-made quilt given by Terri- one of the many wonderful gifts.
