Now that my life is a little less crazy, I have some time to update the blog. My 5 week college class wraps up tomorrow- YAHOO! I finished my last assignment tonight- again YAHOO!! Also, today/tonight is the first 24 hours of not being with Leinna :o( Leif's brother and his family from South Dakota are in Fairbanks visiting Leif's parents. Since I started a new job this summer and can not miss training - Leif and Leinna decided to head up today. I will join them for a quick trip this weekend. It sure is quiet around the house- so thankful for a dinner invitation from Mr. and Mrs. Dillydally- YUMMY!! Even though, I'm beyond tired, it's just too quiet to go to bed. So a little of this and a little of that of Leinna!
Since I've been spending many hours on the computer working on college assignments, Leinna's decided to "work-out" while I'm typing away. Ha,ha... actually she loves the art of climbing on up onto things these days and the treadmill is just the right height for her to have a successful climb! Although she did climb stairs rather quickly the other night-- time to figure out a way to block the bottom step- otherwise, Leif and I are going to get our workout chasing her :o)
No Leinna didn't celebrate her birthday early- it was Momma's birthday! Leinna had way too much fun playing with the ribbons.
Here is a picture of me 1 year ago and below is a picture of us now! I know I've said it before and I will probably say it again and again... "I'm just amazed at how fast the time has gone by!"
Finally- my little treasures are blooming. I discovered these beautiful chocolate lilies last spring in the woods near my house. I was so excited to see them sprout up this spring that I couldn't wait to see them bloom! Finally blooming and enjoying every minute of them :o)
